One Piece on Netflix: 10 new heroes (and enemies) in season 2

The second season of the One Piece live-action series is confirmed for 2026 , and fans can already look forward to new, iconic faces. The focus is now on the Alabasta Saga , and Netflix has announced numerous beloved characters whose return we're eagerly anticipating. Here's a look at the heroes… and the future villains. What if these actors portrayed our favorite characters? We've imagined the perfect cast!



1. Tony Tony Chopper – The Doctor with the Big Heart


This reindeer with the blue nose is one of the most popular characters in One Piece. It is brought to life using CGI , facial recognition, and the voice of Mikaela Hoover .

Appears in: Guardians of the Galaxy (Camora, Nova Prime's assistant), The Suicide Squad (Camila), The Guest Book


Interesting fact: Chopper was inspired by a plush toy Oda owned as a child. He wanted a character that was "cute but also powerful".


2. Smoker – The Pirate Hunter


Smoker , a Marine colonel with the power of smoke, is one of the most feared antagonists of this historical period.

Anecdote: "Wherever you go, Straw Hat... I will find you."


3. Miss All Sunday - Crocodile's Shadow


Miss All Sunday , who remains a mystery at this point in the series, is Crocodile's assistant and a brilliant strategist. Later, she will become a valuable ally of Luffy…

Seen in: Anna (as Olga), The Burning Sea



Interesting fact: Her real name? Nico Robin . She has been wanted since she was 8 years old… and knows the secrets of the Forgotten Century.


4. Dr. Hiriluk – The Mad Dreamer


Chopper's mentor, Hiriluk, is a doctor without any particular talent, but with a huge heart. His speech about the cherry blossoms is one of the most unforgettable moments on Drum Island.

Seen in: The Morning Show , Preacher , The Big Bang Theory , Jurassic Park III




Anecdote: His famous saying, "Miracles really do exist!", is still quoted by fans of the Drum storyline.


5. Miss Valentine – Feather-light… or not?


Miss Valentine can manipulate her weight thanks to her Devil Fruit, the Kiro Kiro no Mi. With a snap of her fingers, she can go from 1 kg to several tons, often laughing like a child while doing so.

Appears in: Warrior (as Catherine Archer), Lioness , Trackers



Anecdote: His umbrella is both a weapon and a fashion accessory (Oda loves eccentric characters).


  1. Mr. 3 – The Candlelight Strategist


Lord 3 (Galdino) uses the Doru Doru no Mi , a Devil Fruit that allows him to create and manipulate wax and metal. He loves intricate plans and theatrical poses.

Anecdote: In the anime, Mr. 3 served as a running gag due to his ridiculous poses.


  1. Mr. 5 – The Man Who Sneezes Bombs


An agent of Baroque Works with explosive style. Mr. 5 uses the powers of the Bomu Bomu no Mi Fruit to turn every part of his body into a bomb, even his sneezes.

Seen in: Batwoman (Luke Fox / Batwing), The Sun Is Also a Star



Anecdote: "My weapon? A severe sinus infection."


  1. Dalton – The King with the Heart of a Bull


Dalton, a former royal guardsman of Drum who became a just and respected king, possesses the ability to transform into a bison thanks to the Ushi Ushi no Mi fruit.



Interpreter : Ty Keogh


Seen in: Black Sails , Blood Drive , 24 Hours to Live , The Gamechangers




Anecdote: "A true king does not flee. He protects."


  1. Wapol – The Tyrannical Glutton


Wapol, the capricious and cruel former king of the Drum Kingdom, can eat anything (including humans or metal) thanks to the Baku Baku no Mi Fruit.



Interpreter : Rob Colletti


Appearances in: The Many Saints of Newark , City on a Hill , The Office (additional voices), School of Rock



Anecdote: "What I eat, I become. Even if it's a gun turret."

  1. Tashigi – The swordsman with the open gaze


Tashigi, a marine lieutenant with a passion for legendary swords, is determined to take the powerful blades out of the hands of criminals.



Interpreter : Julia Rehwald


Appears in: Fear Street trilogy (as Kate and Lizzie), Where the Scary Things Are



Anecdote: "A good blade deserves a worthy wielder."


🎬 What can we expect from season 2?


Season 2 is expected to include the following:

  • Loguetown , where Luffy meets Smoker and Zoro discovers the cursed blades

  • Drum Island , with the arrival of Chopper

  • Alabasta , the heart of the war against crocodiles and Baroque works

All of this takes place in a tone that remains true to Oda's universe, combining humor, emotions, and epic battles.
