 Hyōrinmaru, Hitsugaya Tōshirō's zanpakutō, is one of the most powerful and iconic in Bleach . Renowned as the strongest ice zanpakutō in the Soul Society, this blade is both majestic and formidable, reflecting Tōshirō's mastery over the ice elements.

 In its Shikai form, Hyōrinmaru takes the form of a classic katana attached to a chain. This chain allows Tōshirō to manipulate his zanpakutō with great reach, increasing his flexibility in combat. His primary ability, Sōten ni Zase ("Freeze the Heavens"), summons ice dragons that crush and freeze his enemies.

 In Bankai, Daiguren Hyōrinmaru , Tōshirō undergoes a complete transformation: wings and ice armor envelop his body, amplifying his power and granting him exceptional protection. This mode allows him to control water and ice on a colossal scale, freezing everything in his path.
